Renewal: 36-month validity. Linux Foundation often bundles CKA + CKAD + CKS at 30–50% discount during sales (Black Friday, KubeCon weeks). Recommended to plan timing.

Time pressure: 16 questions / 120 min, similar to CKA. yq / kubectl shortcuts (vim-mode, alias k=kubectl, kubectl explain) save 20+ minutes total.
