Stephane Maarek MLS course + Tutorials Dojo MLS-C01 practice exams the standard 2024 prep. Hands-on with SageMaker (Notebook Instances, Studio, Pipelines, Endpoints) essential — cert content is heavily SageMaker-centric.

Exam tests both ML theory and AWS platform knowledge — surprises some candidates. Plain ML practitioners without AWS depth fail on platform questions; AWS engineers without ML depth fail on algorithm/math questions. Both backgrounds need cross-prep.

Post-IBM-acquisition (2024) license uncertainty caused community concern. Cert content is on HashiCorp Vault — unchanged for now. OpenBao fork exists for OSS-only deployments. Watch for product/policy shifts in 2025+.
